Our Plastic Suregery in 10 Steps

Follow these easy Plastic Surgery Steps:

1 - First Contact

You may contact Cosmetic Harmony through the website or by phone: USA (954) 343-1281 / Colombia (571) 609-6656.
To obtain an accurate quotation on a complete cosmetic surgery package, please send 3 pictures of the areas you wish to enhance (front, side and angle). Please also include a brief description of your desired surgery goals. Even though we cover all the pre-requested medical exams, we advise our clients to get them done before traveling — this will ensure your eligibility for the desired cosmetic treatments.

2 - Information Exchange

Prior to the trip, our Patient Information Advisor will forward the pictures and medical exams to the board certified surgeons who are the most qualified to perform your procedure. Once the physicians examine the pictures, your medical exams, and confirm that you are fit to undergo the treatment you are interested in, we will then custom tailor a complete package for you. This will include the total cost, as well as the length of stay and surgeon recommendations.

3 - Treatment Confirmation

Once you are comfortable with the cost, the surgeon, etc., you will have an opportunity to schedule a final consultation with your doctor. At this time, we request that you ask any and all questions, as well as address any concerns you may have. Please note, this is the best time to ask away so do not hesitate or hold anything back. Our goal is to make this experience a very happy and positive one. We do not recommend going into surgery having any unanswered questions, doubts, or concerns. We ask that you compile an email or a letter which you may fax to us with anything you would like answered. In response, we will have the surgeon review your letter and answer all questions. At this time, you will also be assigned a surgery date and will be required to pay $697.00 USD deposit. Additionally, we highly recommend that you price out your travel itinerary as prices range during the year.

4 - Agenda

Once the initial payment is made (via PayPal, credit card or Western Union), Cosmetic Harmony will confirm the date of your treatment. An assistant from our Patient Care Center will make the apartment and/or hotel reservations, assign a bilingual personal assistant and organize the transfer services. Cosmetic Harmony will plan a personalized trip catered exactly for you. Finally, an itinerary with all the details will be sent to you.

5 - Final Payment

The second payment (the remaining amount) must be made upon your arrival.

6 - The Trip

After flying to Bogotá, Colombia you will arrive at the El Dorado International Airport (BOG), where your Cosmetic Harmony personal assistants — an English speaking guide — will welcome you at the airport and transport you to your apartment or hotel. Your personal assistance will also help you to get acquainted with your accomodations, as well as brief you on the complete details of your trip. It is our goal to make every step of your trip as comforting and rewarding as possible.

7 - Before the Procedure

Prior to your surgery, you will have your medical exams completed (if you have not had them done previously in your home country) by our qualified physicians. Again, we recommend getting your exams done at home especially if you are aware of any pre-existing medical conditions. We don't want you to come to Colombia and have any unexpected situations arise where the surgeon feels it is unsafe to perform the desired surgery. Whether you have exams from your home or are having them done in Bogotá, you will be required to appear at a pre-surgery consultation with your doctor, or if you are having medical exams performed in Bogotá, you will be required to have two consultations. You will again be with an English speaking guide/translator and you will be able to ask and receive answers to all of your questions, as well as answer any questions the doctor(s) may have for you. As part of your package, Cosmetic Harmony will provide your transportation to any and all of these appointments.

8 - The Medical Procedure

After having completed your medical exams, meeting the surgeon and anesthesiologist, you will have your desired procedure the following morning. We will transport you to the clinic and ensure you are relaxed and ready for your surgery. You will be escorted by your English speaking guide/translator through the whole process — from the morning of your surgery to when you awake from your anesthesia. If a great number of procedures are necessary, the surgeon may choose to keep you at the clinic for 24 hrs. As always, you will be accompanied by an English speaking guide/nurse/translator.

9 - Recovery

Once the surgery is complete you will recover following the doctor's exact instructions. The first few days after surgery are the most important. During this time, it is common that you may feel some discomfort, pain and mild depression. This is 100% normal as you are having some of the side effects from anesthesia and pain medication. We recommend at this time that you follow the doctor's exact instructions of what to eat, drink and how to rest, etc. There will be a phone in your hotel room and/or apartment suite where you may receive or make phone calls to and from family and friends. The phone calls are not included in your fee and these will be billed to you once you are ready to leave. Depending on the procedure(s) you had done, you will be required to have follow-up appointments with your surgeon to check on your recovery status. Note, the more procedures you have done, the more appointments you will have to attend.

10 - Discharge and Return Home

At the last consultation with your surgeon, the stitches will be removed (if applicable) and you will be granted medical authorization to return to your home country. As always, your personal assistant will transport you to all medical appointments, as well as accompany you from your hotel and/or apartment to the airport in order to wish you a safe journey home.

However, our commitment doesn't stop there! Cosmetic Harmony will keep in touch with you even after you have returned home, and will gladly answer any questions you may have about your recovery. In some cases and depending on the type of surgery, you will see daily improvements in your looks as time progresses.
